Hana Lee is a Doctor of Eastern Medicine and L.Ac practicing in Berkeley, California and the greater Bay Area. She is a graduate of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California, and has a Masters of Science in Eastern Medicine with an emphasis on Japanese Acupuncture and Herbalism, in addition to a Doctoral degree from the Pacific College of Health and Science.

Hana has always had an interest in how our internal experiences relate to our external bodies. After pursuing a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she spent several years working as a residential mental health counselor for youth diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Here, through creating nutrition and exercise workshops, she observed a huge improvement in the resident's wellness and clarity. During this same period, neck pain from a car accident led her to experience East Asian Medicine, where she discovered the immense healing potential of Acupuncture. She's inspired by the medicine's poetic alignment with the natural world.

Clinically, Hana focuses on regulating systems in the body that have become imbalanced overtime. This includes rhythms of hormones, mood, digestion and sleep, as well as symptoms that manifest as physical pain in the body. Her review of Acupuncture's effect on reproductive hormones and the uterus has been published in the Journal of Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine.

In addition to her private practice, Hana also treats young adults for Newport Academy's residential rehabilitation programs.
